Happy Onam! On this auspicious day, posting a look inspired by ‘Onam’. So dont forget to scroll down till the end to have a look at the gallery. Festive season is already on. We are in a middle of pandemic, thats true but celebrating festivals and special occasions with safety, will definitely keep our morals up. At the end of day we are social animals, restricting ourselves to confined zones is the most difficult part of our lives. But together we all will definitely come over this situation. And yes, don’t forget to celebrate each n every moment which can bring happiness not just to us but also to our loved ones.
Coming back to the post. The whole process of getting ready for the shoot and shooting, was so much fun. This is a south silk turquoise shade saree with contrast green coloured blouse piece. Generally people go for white/off white shade Kerala Kasavu Saree, but I wanted to add some colours to the look so tried this one. A lot of gold jewelleries goes with the look to make it more relevant to the traditional look ( ok, I used some gold and some gold plated designer jwellery). For makeup a Kajal and a black eyeliner really made the eyes look more dramatic, defined, expressive and wider and yes, A matching bindi ( an indian makeup accessory) really enhanced the look). I made a bun and used artificial flower garland (hair-do accessory). I hope you like the look. Take care.
