” MAKE IT SIMPLE, BUT SIGNIFICANT.” – DON DRAPER.
Hello everyone, this is a very simple festive cum wedding time look. We have picked a dark colour banarasi saree to create this look. Dark colours are very playful when it comes to festive or wedding time looks . This elegant maroon shade with golden bordered Banarasi saree is really making this festive/ wedding look adorable yet sophisticated. So, if you also own a red family shade banarasi saree, this is how you can style it.
Apparel: Well, this is a saree which I grabbed from my mother’s wardrobe. The moment I saw it, I was like I will definitely give it a try. This is a look which we created with this maroon coloured Banarasi saree with golden border. The way I have draped this saree is the most common way, but you all will agree that this way never goes out of fashion and is the most classic way of draping a saree.
Accessories/ Jewellery: To make the look more elegant, we paired this attire with the kundan choker neckpiece. A choker neckless goes very well with heavily designed sarees. It also gives an illusion of long neck.
Makeup: As this is a dark shade saree, we chose a very light makeup-no makeup look (Very light or no makeup look is making this outfit wearable and look more beautiful which can be created for even day time occasion also) with a very natural eye makeup. To enhance the eyes we have added little golden glitter eye shade. And for the lips we have used the maroon shade Lip colour matching with the saree. Little blush on the cheeks and you are good to go.
So, if you also believe that the dark colours are suitable only for the night time celebrations, give this also a try. 🙂
